Yahoo is an acronym for "Yet Another Hierarchical Officious Oracle" i.e. An American multinational company, formed by Jerry and and David Filo. Yahoo delivers an extensive range of web services, products including Web Portal, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Answers, Video Sharing and many more. The headquarter of Yahoo is located on Sunnyvale California.

Yahoo has established a great reputation and brand recognition by serving more than 100 millions users globally each month. It had made its properties free of charge which creates revenue mainly via Advertisement Sales, Sponsorships, Promotions or Direct marketing. On a single day, There are more than 300 million views on YAHOO web pages.


History of Yahoo
On Jan 1994, A website named as "Jerry and David's guide to the World Wide Web" was developed by the two electrical engineering students named as Jerry Yang and David Filo. In the same year, it also got its first logo.

After that, On Jan 1995, the website name was replaced by "yahoo.com" and replaced its logo too.

On September 2013, Yahoo introduced an advanced version of a personalized homepage.
