F5

F5 also known as the Function 5 key is a keyboard shortcut that is usually used to refresh a page but it also serves different purposes in different programs.

How to use it?

Just click the F5 function key in any program to see what it does.

• F5 in Mac computers:

In Apple Mac, pressing the F5 will decrease the backlight of your keyboard.

• F5 in Excel:

In Microsoft Excel, pressing F5 will help you reach any specified column or row.

• F5 in Word:

In Microsoft Word, F5 opens the find, replace, and go to the window.

• F5 in Browser:

In all the major browsers, the F5 shortcut key is used to refresh the current page.
