Ctrl + S also known as Control + S is a keyboard shortcut used to save any document or the changes made in that document.
How to use Ctrl + S?
One needs to press and hold the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and press the "S" key with it. It will directly save your document.
On Mac computer/laptop, you need to press "Command+S".

In Microsoft Excel, if you choose to press the "Ctrl + S" key, it will save the excel sheet you are working on.
In Microsoft Word, Ctrl + S is used to save the current document.
In any major browser, pressing Ctrl + S will open the "Save page as" dialog.
